Portia

by Wright (and in some cases engraver Egleton), 1848, in Heroines of Shakespeare

…………………………………………………………… The very marvelous consciousness of the Goddess of Justice, Portia, can greatly assist the disciple in the development of a fertile field of consciousness in which can be implanted the highest divine ideas.
The very purposes of life and freewill were bestowed upon man in order that he might create by right choices a consciousness of Christ-amity….
Only by a realization of and a faith in the continuity of life and the justice of life can a soul truly prepare his consciousness to receive immortality. -Divine Director: Pearls of Wisdom 11:46; see http://books.google.com/books?id=wVT_AT2MciUC&pg=PA193&dq=mark+prophet+portia&hl=en&sa=X&ei=iKgAUbqhHaetiALh0oGAAQ&ved=0CEsQ6AEwBTgK#v=onepage&q=mark%20prophet%20portia&f=false

…………………………………………………………… In his younger days at Gray’s Inn Francis Bacon was the moving spirit of the “Order of the Helmet”–an invisible Knighthood dedicated to Pallas Athene–the Shaker-of-the-Spear (the morning light hitting her spear made it appear to quiver). …In a letter to Sir John Davies, Bacon ends by beseeching him to “be good to concealed poets.” -Penn Leary: The Cryptographic Shakespeare, Westcheser House, Omaha, 1987, p. 49
……………………………………………………………S. Whitman’s Personal Reminiscences of Prince Bismarck, at pp. 135-6, says that in 1892 Bismarck stated that he himself “could not understand how it were possible that a man, however gifted with the intuitions of genius, could have written what was attributed to Shakespeare unless he had been in touch with the great affairs of state, behind the scenes of political life, and also intimate with all the social courtesies and refinements of that which in Shakespeare’s time were only to be met with in the highest circles.” -this is also what Mark Twain in his Is Shakespeare Dead? repeated, also repeated by Sir E. Darning-Lawrence: Bacon Is Shakespeare, Gay & Hancock, London, 1910, p. 181.
……………………………………………………………. It is well to know a crown can one of these days be put on–an immortal crown that rust shall do no ill nor evil men deny to such as do inherit it or win in any sort of strife of the poets–authors with brother authors. -decoded material of Bacon’s, compiled and arranged by M. Barsi-Greene: I, Prince Tutor, Wrote Shakespeare, Branden Press, Boston, 1973, pp. 234-5.
……………………………………………………………
Because justice is a sacred thing, and the end for which I am called to this place, and therefore is my way to heaven (and if it be shorter it is none the worse), I shall by the grace of God as far as God will give me strength add the afternoon to the forenoon, and some fortnight of the vacation to the terms, for clearing the causes of the court. -Sir Francis Bacon as Chancellor & Keeper of the King’s Seals, 1617, his speech, in Leary, op.cit., p. 59.
